Wifey made some goooooood food this weekend! I was a sick on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but I got better in time to enjoy the below:
Shrimp en Papillote with toasted French bread. My new favorite dish!! This is shrimp in a very light lemon, butter, and herb sauce baked in a sealed foil pouch. The pouch steams the shrimp using the sauce and keeps all the moisture inside.
Then for dessert:
Homemade chocolate soufflÃ© that bubbled up nicely. It was perfect — not too rich like some store-bought one we tried previously. Woot!
